Panama City Beach, Florida

Florida Flag

Wow, What a Time.  Wading in the ocean at midnight, 40+ of us hanging out by the pool on Saturday afternoon, wearing pirate hats at the dinner table, chasing fish in the ocean, driving the coast to Sea Side Village, sharing many laughs with old time friends, watching Bob take over the floor show.  Tell me, does it get any better than that?

Panama City was just like the other gatherings, a new place, a new adventure, but the same Ankara friends, some old, some new.  That's what really counts.

Here are a few pictures of the Panama City Beach Experience.

Butch, Linda, Linda, Judy, Mike, Linda, Anita, Bruce. Hanging out around the area

The ocean was warm and refreshing, the pool was comfortable and relaxing, the view was breathtaking, and the humidity was... not something west coasters are familiar with.  But we had a good time anyway!!!

Here are a few pictures around the resort and the area.

Anita, Linda, and Jim. Hanging out in the suites

When not doing the water thing or the eating thing we did the chilling thing.  Chatting, laughing, and loving our roots and our friendship, in air conditioned comfort.

Here are a few pictures of our tribe.

Bob during todays 15-minutes of fame. He has one a day. Got to love the guy... Hanging out at the night club

Here is where we really cut up.

I didn't get any pictures of being kicked out of one of the establishments, and a few of our tribe have posted the dinner on the Pirate Ship.

But these are pictures in the night club of the memorable PARTY...

Bfutch and Suzi From Our Dear Friend Suzi

Suzi was kind enough to share some of her memories, and wanted them posted where all could see them.

She really enjoyed herself and is looking forward to the next gathering as well as moving to Florida.
